Dominion Beer was introduced by Old Dominion Brewing Company in Loudoun, Virginia in 1989 by Jerry Bailey. In 2007, Bailey sold the company to Bill Muehlhauser, owner of Fordham Brewing Company. The two companies merged and became Fordham and Dominion Brewing Company, headquartered in Dover, Delaware. In 2023, the company dramatically scaled back its operations, and no longer distributes the beer. It is still brewed, however, for a local pub.
