Old Style beer is a brand that was first created in 1878 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The brand’s original owner was the G. Heileman Brewing Company, which operated until 1996. Then, it was sold off to Stroh Brewery, which soon failed due to being burdened by the debt from the purchase. In 1999, it sold off the Old Style Brand to Pabst Brewing.
