Roadhouse Brewery was founded in 2012 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming by Colby Cox and Gavin Fine. Cox had been an award-winning homebrewer, and Fine was a noted restaurateur. In 2018, the brewery became certified as a B corporation, and also instituted an employee stock ownership plan. In 2022, the brewery purchased nearby Melvin Brewing, and the following year, the company was renamed Pure Madness Brewery Group, which is now the parent company for both breweries.
