St. Pauli Brewery was founded in 1857 in Bremen, Germany, by Lüder Rutenberg. In 1918 the brewery was purchased by Beck’s. In 2001, Beck’s was purchased by Interbrew, which in 2004 purchased AmBev to become InBev. Four years later, InBev purchased Anheuser-Busch and became Anheuser-Busch InBev.
