Uinta Brewing was created in 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah by Will Hamill. In 2014, private equity firm Riverside Capital took a minority interest in the company. In 2019, they sold their interest to Golub Capital who also had a minority stake, giving them a controlling interest. Golub sold their stake to United States Beverage in 2022.
