Wynwood Brewing was founded by Luis Brignoni and his father Luis “Pops” Brignoni Sr. in 2013 in Miami, Florida. In 2016, Craft Brew Alliance purchased a 24.5% ownership stake in Wynwood for $30 million. At the time, Anheuser-Busch InBev owned 32.2% of CBA. In 2018, CBA purchased the rest of Wynwood, and in 2020 AB InBev purchased the remainder of CBA, making Wynwood Brewing a wholly owned subsidiary. In 2024, AB InBev closed the brewery, and made the move to start brewing its beer at nearby Veza Sur Brewing, also owned by AB InBev.
