Bishop Cider Company was founded in 2014 by Joel and Laura Malone in Dallas, Texas. The company has since expanded to a group of restaurants & arcades called Cidercade, as well as a co-packing business called Tex-Bev. In 2022, they purchased Fort Worth-based Wild Acre Brewing, as well as the assets of Legal Draft (though it does not produce products under that name).
