Twisted X Brewing Company was founded in 2011 in Cedar Park, Texas by Jim Sampson and Shane Bordeau. In 2013, Hunter Stewart was added as a partner in the enterprise, and that same year, the team moved the brewery to nearby Dripping Springs to open up a new 12,000 square foot location. Later, the company added casitas and airstream trailers for guests to stay on property.
