What does FORST BRAUEREI Own?

Forst Brauerei was founded in Foresta, Italy in 1857 by Johann Wallnöfer and Franz Tappeiner. The two men were from Austria, and signified their connection to the country with the German spelling of “Brewery” in the company’s name. In 1863, the company was taken over by Josef Fuchs, whose descendants still run the company. In 1991, the company purchased Menabrea beer from the Thedy family.
