Baxter Brewing Company was founded in 2011 in Lewiston, Maine by Luke Livingston and Tom Platz. Their beer is brewed at the historic Lewiston Bates Mill. In 2019, Livingston retired, naming operations manager Jenn Lever as president. However, he and Platz still own 98% of the brewery.
