Raleigh Brewing Company was founded in 2013 in Raleigh, North Carolina by Kristie Nystedt. Nystedt was the first woman to open a brewery in North Carolina, having noticed that there was a gap in the market of supplies for homebrewers. She opened the brewery at the same time alongside Atlantic Brew Supply and ABS Commercial to offer supplies to both homebrewers and fellow brewers.
