Petoskey Brewing Company was founded in Petoskey, Michigan in 2012 by Lou Gostinger and Patrick Dowd. It sits on the site of the former Petoskey Brewing, which was founded in 1896 by Frank and Garrett Fochtman, A. Bremmeyr and John Zaiger. That brewery closed in 1915.
