B-52 Brewing Company was founded in Conroe, Texas in 2014 by Brent Daniel and his brother Chad Daniel. In 2018, Chad Daniel died in a motorcycle accident, and in 2022 Brent put the brewery on the market. It was purchased by Fortress Beerworks in nearby Spring, Texas, owned by John O’Hara, Dion Billard, Shawn Stasiuk, and Robert Fleming. Both companies were rolled up into the parent company Coastal Citadel LLC.
