Bull Durham Brewing Company was founded in 2015 in Durham, North Carolina, by Capitol Broadcasting Company. The company also owns the Durham Bulls minor league baseball team, which became famous from the movie Bull Durham, and the brewery was set up in the baseball stadium. In 2019, the beer brand was sold to R&D Brewing, who still operates the brand out of the stadium.
