Three Floyds Brewing was created in 1996 in Hammond, Indiana by Nick, Simon, and Mike Floyd. In 2000, the brewery moved to Munster Indiana. In 2005 they opened a brewpub next door, but closed it down in 2020. The brewery is also known for their annual “Dark Lord Day” festival where they release the coveted Dark Lord Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout. In 2019, the brewery also began producing gin, rum, vodka, and other spirits.
