Aeronaut Brewing Company was founded in Somerville, Massachusetts in 2014 by Ronn Friedlander, Michael Yim, and Daniel Rassi. In 2024, it was announced that the company would be acquired by Dorchester Brewing Company. Dorchester’s CEO Matt Malloy was to be CEO of the new combined company, and the Aeronaut’s production facility was planned to be phased out. However, by October of that year the plans were put to merge were put on hold.
