Alpine Beer Company was founded in 1999 in Alpine, California by Pat McIlhenney. The brewery quickly gained recognition in the burgeoning craft beer scene, and in 2014 was purchased by San Diego’s Green Flash Brewing Company. In 2018, Green Flash and Alpine were purchased by investor group WC IPA LLC, who sold the company again in late 2021 to Tilray Brands for $5.133 million.
