Bootstrap Brewing was founded in 2012 in Longmont, Colorado by Leslie and Steve Kaczeus. The husband and wife had previously worked in tech, Leslie as a marketer and Steve as a mechanical engineer. After Steve graduated from the American Brewer’s Guild brewing program in 2011, they decided to open a brewery together.
