Brasserie Dubuisson was founded in Pipaix, Belgium in 1769 by Joseph Leroy. Leroy had a farm on the land, and brewed beer in small batches to sell to nearby neighbors. In 1931, his descendents Alfred and Amédée Dubuisson expanded the operation, and gave up the farming side of the business. The brewery remains controlled by the family, and is now owned by Vincent Dubuisson.
