Brew Hub was founded in 2013 in Lakeland, Florida by Tim Schoen, a former Anheuser-Busch executive who wanted to start an incubator for breweries. The business model allows for long term contracting of nascent breweries, but the company also brews their own beers under the Brew Hub brand. In 2025,months after the business was foreclosed upon by its bank, Brew Hub was purchased by Jeremy Roberts and Andrew Phillipe, the owners of contract brewery Brew Theory.
