Brewery Bhavana was founded in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2017 by Patrick Woodson and siblings Vansana and Vanvisa Nolintha. In the aftermath of the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020, allegations came to the surface of alleged mistreatment of its employees, which led to Vansana leaving the business.
