Cahaba Brewing Company was created in 2011 in Birmingham, Alabama by Taylor DeBoer, Burton Dunn, Andy Gwaltney, Jake Hayes and Eric Meyer. DeBoer left the organization in 2013 and later started Ghost Train Brewing. The brewery taproom opened in 2012, but in 2015 they expanded to a larger location in the Continental Gin Building.
