Empyrean Brewing Company was founded in 1990 in Lincoln, Nebraska by Brian and Scott Boles and Jay Jarvis. It was originally the brewing arm of Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill, but in 1997 it was spun off as its own legal entity. Now both companies are organized under the Boles’ holding company, Telesis Inc.
