Everards Brewery was founded in Leicester, England in 1849 by William Everard and Thomas Hull, and was originally known as Hull and Everard. In 1892, Everard’s son Thomas Everard took over the business when his father died, and the brewery was renamed Everard’s in 1899. The company is still privately held, and run by fifth generation owner Richard Everard.
