Foolproof Brewing Company was founded in 2013 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island by Nick Garrison. It was originally named High Jinx Brewing Company, but changed its name before opening to avoid trademark conflict with Magic Hat Brewing Company and their Jinx beer. In 2021, the company was purchased by Connecticut Brewery Collective, which now goes by Brewery Collective due to Foolproof’s Rhode Island Location.
