Full Circle Brewing Company was founded in Fresno, California in 2000 by Don Anderson and Bill McVoy. In 2016, the company was purchased by former CPA Arthur Moye, along with investors Derek Frank, Gary Winter, Cassidy Jakovickas, LaTricia Adkins, Joe Denham, Sarah Moffatt, and Diego Arambula.

Full Circle later purchased Sonoma Cider in 2020, followed by Speakeasy Ales & Lagers in 2023. In 2024, the company merged with Crowns and Hops based out of Inglewood, California, to become Circle of Crowns Brewing Company. With those acquisitions, the group became the largest black-owned brewing company in the United States. However, just 6 months later, Crowns & Hops announced that it was pulling out of the relationship.
