Ghost Train Brewing Company was founed in 2014 by Taylor DeBoer and Patrick Small in Birmingham, Alabama. DeBoer had previously started Cahaba Brewing, also in Birmingham, and in 2016 the team began operating in the former Cahaba space. In 2023, Ghost Trian filed for bankruptcy and sold that space to Uproot Brewing Company.
