Great Rhythm Brewing was founded in 2012 in Ipswich, Massachusetts by Scott and Kristen Thornton. The husband and wife originally brewed their beer out of Mercury Brewing’s brewhouse, before moving production to Smuttynose brewing. They then found their own production space in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 2016.
