Harland Beer was founded by Jeff Hanssen, Josh Landan, and Anthony Levas in San Diego, California in 2018. The three had previously owned and worked at Saint Archer Brewing before they sold the brand to Molson Coors for $100 million. They went on to start the San Diego based distributorship Scout Distributing, and Landan also started the beverage company Great Frontier Holdings. The companies, however, are otherwise unrelated.
