Island Brands brewing is a brewery created in Charleston, South Carolina in 2016 by Scott Hansen and Brandon Perry. The focus was to create a new, non-craft beer brand to compete with macro brewers. In 2021, the team launched a crowdfunding campaign that garnered $4.2 million at a $65 million valuation.
