Jackalope Brewing Company was founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 2009 by Bailey Spaulding and Robyn Virball. In 2010, they added Steve Wright as a partner and chief operating officer. In 2014, Virball left the business to pursue other interests. The company was acquired by investment company Tacoma and Hoyt LLC in 2024, with its CEO Steve Barone taking on the role of Jackalope CEO as part of the transition.
