Knee Deep Brewing is a craft beer brand that was created in 2010 by Jeremy Warren in Lincoln, California. He started the brewery with just $15,000, and built a facility of less than 1000 square feet. By 2015, a majority of the brewery was owned by Jerry Moore, who bought out all of the original investors’ stakes. That year, Warren left the company and sold his shares to Moore. He then went on to start Revision Brewing in Sparks, Nevada. In 2018, Knee Deep Brewing was sued by Sony Pictures for its use of the Breaking Bad imagery for its popular Breaking Bud IPA. Moore responded and said that representatives from studio had reached out in 2015 but did not indicate that they wanted to sue the brand. The following year, the two parties settled out of court.
