MAP Brewing Company was founded in 2015 in Bozeman, Montana by Patrick Kainz. Kainz had gotten his start in the beer industry in 1995 when he helped build the Onion Pub and Brewery in Illinois, and used the experience to help start the brewery. The taproom features work throughout the space from Kainz’ wife, a local blacksmith and artist.
