OCEAN CITY BREWING is independently owned!

Ocean City Brewing Company was founded in Ocean City, Maryland in 2014 by Joshua Shores. However, in 2017 was convicted of wire fraud in a scheme to sell over $2.5 million worth of counterfeit sports memorabilia, and was sentenced to five years in prison. As a result, the brewery went into bankruptcy in 2018, and its assets were later sold at auction.
