Philipsburg Brewing was founded in 2012 in Philipsburg, Montana by Nolan Smith, Cathy Smith and Rob Jarvis. The small town has less than 1,000 residents, but support from locals allowed Philipsburg Brewing to expand, and in 2016 it added a 50 barrel production brewery a mile away from the original brewhouse.
