Randall’s Brewery was founded in 1868 in St Peter Port, Guernsey by Robert Henry Randall. The brewery owns several tied-house pubs throughout the island, and is the most popular beer in Guernsey. Another popular beer in the Channel Islands, Breda, was previously brewed in Rotterdam by Oranjeboom, owned by InBev. After InBev closed Oranjeboom in 2004, Randall’s licensed the beer and now brews it in their facilities. The brewery was privately owned by the Randall family until 2006, when it was sold to The Guernsey Pub Company. SandpiperCI, which owns several restaurants and stores in the Channel Islands, announced plans to purchase Guernsey Pub Company in 2020, but scrapped those plans after the impact of covid became clear.
