Raratonga Brewing was founded in 2010 by husband and wife team Tuki and Ngatokorua Née Née in Raratonga, Cook Islands. They purchased brewing equipment from a previous brewery on the island, and began making their Cook Islands Lager. However, in 2013, health and family issues caused them to shut down. In 2016, they expanded with new equipment and a new lease and returned to production.
