Redhook Brewery was created in 1981 in Seattle, Washington by Paul Shipman and Gordon Bowker. In 2008, Redhook merged with Widmer Brothers Brewing to form Craft Brew Alliance. In 2010, Anheuser-Busch InBev purchased a 32.2% stake in CBA. In 2019, they purchased the rest of CBA, making Redhook a wholy-owned subsidiary. In 2023, AB InBev sold the Redhook brand, along with seven other brands in their portfolio, to Tilray Brands for a total of $83.4 million.
