Square Mile Cider was launched in 2013 by Craft Brew Alliance, which at the time was 32.2% owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev. In 2020, AB InBev purchased the remainder of CBA, making Square Mile Cider a wholly owned subsidiary. In 2023, the Square Mile Brand was sold to Tilray Brands Inc, along with 7 other brands, in a deal that was valued at $83.4 million in total.
