Taybeh Beer was founded in Taybeh, Palestine in 1994 by brothers Nadim and David Khoury in 1994. After the signing of the Oslo Peace Accords, the two returned home to the West Bank after living in the United States to start a brewery. The company received support from Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, who saw it as an opportunity to break the country’s dependence on Israeli imports.
