The Brew Kettle is a craft beer brand that was originally created in 1995. It was founded by Chris McKim and his wife Pam, who established the brand in Strongsville, a city in Ohio, USA. The brewery initially offered “brew your own” operations that allowed guests to make their own craft beer onsite at the facility, while they marketed their own beer under the name “Ringneck Brewing.” Later, the Ringneck brand was abandoned, and now operate both their brew your own operations and their produced beer under the same name.

In 2013, McKim sold a 75% stake in the business to a group of 8 investors, including Christopher T. Russo, Rodney Davis, and Bryan Weber. McKim originally said he was going to stay on to manage the brewing operations, but left a few months later. Russo and Davis were initially tasked with acting as manager and financial manager, respectively. However, in 2022 the other investors brought a lawsuit against the pair, claiming their actions left the company on the brink of collapse. The matter was settled out of court, with Russo and Davis stepping down and selling their stakes to Weber, making him the majority owner in the business.
