Threes Brewing was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2013 by Josh Stylman, Justin Israelson, and Greg Doroski. In 2022, Stylman, who was acting as CEO, was forced out of the company after stating on Twitter that New York City’s vaccine mandate was a “crime against humanity,” comparing the public health regulation to Jim Crow laws and the Nazi regime in Germany. He later divested his share in the company.
