Tola Brewing Company was founded in 2020 by Robin Periana and Mike Kyne in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. The two started the brewery after noticing that cruise ship passengers visiting the island were asking for local beer, which couldn’t be found. Periana and Kyne hired Jose Ayala, who had previously worked at the Boston Beer Company, to be the brewmaster at the operation. It is now the biggest brewery in the British Virgin Islands.
