Woodland Empire Ale Craft was founded in Boise, Idaho in 2014 by husband and wife Rob and Keely Landerman. In 2022, the Landermans sold the company to Progress through Beer, a new parent company by Dave Krick and his wife Jami Adams, owners of Works Progress Administration Beer along with several local restaurants, their operations manager David Roberts, and Lost Grove Brewery owner Jacob Black.
