Zoiglhaus Brewing Company was founded in 2015 in Portland, Oregon by Alan Taylor, Chad Rennaker, and Nick Roberts. The name comes from a Bavarian tradition where community members share a brewhouse to make the wort for their beer, and then rotate through each other’s houses to drink the resulting beer when it’s ready.
