What does ANADOLU EFES Own?
Anadolu Group was founded in 1950 by Kamil Yazıcı and İzzet Özilhan in Instanbul, Turkey. The company entered various industries, including automobiles, engines, and consumer goods. In 1969, they founded Anadolu Efes to produce Efes beer. In 1998, Anadolu Efes had an IPO, with 48% of its shares going public on the ISE and London stock exchanges. The company is now owned 43% by Anadolu Group, 24% by Anheuser-Busch InBev, and the remainder is traded publicly.
