What does BOWEN & BOWEN Own?

Bowen & Bowen is a consolidated corporation founded in 1932 by brothers Eric and Frederick Bowen in Belize. Originally a general trading company, it expanded to soft drinks in 1944, and in 1961 became the Coca-Cola bottler for the country. In 1969 it entered the alcohol business with the creation of Belize Brewing Company as part of a joint partnership with Cerveceria Hondureña. The company later bought out Hondureña’s shares in 1981.
