EINBECKER BRAUHAUS

What does EINBECKER BRAUHAUS Own?

Einbecker Brauhaus was founded in Einbeck, Saxony in 1378 by the citizens of Einbeck. In 1922, the brewery was purchased by Hildesheim Stock Brewery. In 1967, it became known as Einbecker Brauhaus Aktiengesellschaft. Over the next few years, it merged twice, first with Schultheiss-Brauerei AG in 1969, and then with the Dortmund Union Brewery in 1972 to become Brau & Brunnen.

In 1997, a group of private investers purchased the Einbecker brand from Brau & Brunnen and established it as its own brewery.
