HITEJINRO

What does HITEJINRO Own?

HiteJinro was established in 1933 in Seoul, South Korea by Dainippon Brewery (the then-owners of Sapporo Brewery) as “Nippon Beer Chosun Co.” After 1945, Korean authorities siezed the brewery and it was renamed Crown Beer. In 1998, as exports became a bigger part of the company’s business, the beer was renamed again to Hite Beer. In 2006, the company purchased soju maker Jinro and became HiteJinro.
