Jamuna Group was founded in 1974 in Dhaka, Bangladesh by Nurul Islam Babul. The company is engaged in multiple sectors, including leather, motorcycles, textiles, and chemicals. In 2004 it entered the alcohol industry with their brand Hunter, which due to restrictions on alcohol in the majority Muslim country, is under 5% ABV.
